Pensions Administration Systems
We will check the accuracy and quality of outputs, how technology is used, its reliability, support, risk areas and user training.
We also suggest areas where we believe additional technology could add value.
In-house Pensions Department
Designed to give an overall picture of the quality, reliability and effectiveness of administration. It can be of
the general ‘healthcheck’ variety, or focused on specific areas where problems are suspected.
Third Party Administrators
We will review their performance, processes and documentation together with their use of IT. We can make broad comments on cost and a market comparison will benchmark the supplier’s market position.
Scheme Advisors
We will check service agreements, perceptions of the quality of advice and the level of proactivity. We can look at their client management and general communications assessed against your objectives. We can ask members of the scheme for their views as well.
Operational Risks
All aspects of the operation to identify if good practice is being used and assess any unusual areas of risk.
Typically, this includes benefits, payments, work management, data management, system testing, training,
documentation and business recovery measures.
Processes
Focused on an agreed set of processes. We will document these processes and review them against your
objectives and best practice. The output will be a report identifying areas for improvement. You can either
action this yourself, or we can do it on your behalf.
